Vision of the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program

To become the leading education center for Internal Medicine subspecialists in Eastern Indonesia—distinguished, reputable, and of the highest quality—rooted in the spirit of the maritime continent, and capable of competing at regional, national, and global levels by 2025, supported by professional, responsible, and independent human resources.

Missions of the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Study Program

  1. Provide continuous education and training in Internal Medicine subspecialties, developing competencies that meet national, regional, and international standards.
  2. Enhance both the quantity and quality of basic, clinical, and field research across the various branches of Internal Medicine subspecialties.
  3. Demonstrate leadership in advancing Internal Medicine subspecialist services by delivering focused expertise across all levels of healthcare while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  4. Develop Internal Medicine subspecialists with clinical competencies aligned with healthcare needs, advanced academic proficiency, and professional consulting expertise, achieved through mastery of knowledge and professional conduct to practice modern, evidence-based, cost-effective, and humane Internal Medicine—especially in complex, rare, or challenging cases.
  5. Cultivate Internal Medicine subspecialists who pursue continuous self-improvement and contribute to the advancement of their respective fields through innovative and sustainable research, in accordance with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and applicable regulations.
