The Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, successfully conducted the Internal Medicine Emergency Course (IMEC) Batch 18, an emergency medicine workshop designed to enhance physicians’ clinical competencies, decision-making skills, and preparedness in managing medical emergencies.

The two-day course was held on 29–30 August 2026 at Hasanuddin University Hospital, Building A, 5th Floor, and was attended by 33 participants .

Through a combination of case-based learning, clinical simulations, and interactive discussions, IMEC Batch 18 provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and practical skills in the management of emergency conditions in internal medicine. The course emphasized the importance of timely, accurate, and evidence-based clinical decision-making in delivering high-quality patient care.

Throughout the program, participants were guided by experienced faculty members and experts from various subspecialties of internal medicine.
