On November 20th 2022, the Department of Internal Medicine Hasanuddin University and the Makassar Branch of the PAPDI family commemorate World Diabetes Day in conjunction with the PAPDI 65th Anniversary Celebration. The event was held at the JK Arenatorium Unhas.
The events started with diabetes exercise which was also attended by the Head of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc and Head of the South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, dr. Hj. Rosmini Pandin, MARS.
Interactive talk shows and dialogues with the general public regarding heart disease prevention by Dr. dr. Idar Mappangara, Sp. PD, Sp. JP, prevention of kidney disease by Prof. Dr. dr. Haerani Rasyid, Sp. PD, K-GH, Sp. GK and diabetes prevention by Prof. Dr. dr. Andi Makbul Aman, Sp. PD, K-EMD
The event was enlivened by song performances from the participants and distribution of door prizes
