| Learning Outcomes | Graduate Profile Graduates of a specialist in internal medicine study program, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, have masters knowledge and inseparable skills as a care provider, researcher, educator and as a manager in the place where the graduate is assignedPerson in charge and Internist in Health CareProvider Competences: – Supervising all process in internal medicine services both inpatient and outpatient. – Analyzing internal medicine patient’s problems. – Choosing the additional examination in internal medicine patients. – Providing pharmacology and non pharmacology therapeutic. – Able to summarize history taking, physical examination, laboratorium test, and procedures that suit internal medicine specialist to establish the diagnosis based on evidence-based medicine; – Able to diagnose and give clinical management in metabolic endocrine and diabetic, nephrology and hypertension, pulmonology, tropical infection, rheumatology, hematology and medical oncology, cardiology, gastroenterohepatology, geriatric, immunology and allergy, and psychosomatic, based on patient’s problem, needs and its authority. Knowledge : – Master of basic theories and concepts of Internal Medicine (Metabolic endocrine and diabetic, nephrology and hypertension, pulmonology, tropical infection, rheumatology, hematology and medical oncology, cardiology, gastroenterohepatology, geriatric, immunology and allergy, and psychosomatic) Educator (Internal medicine field in college and health academy) Competences: – Applying the theories and concepts of Internal Medicine Which is an important scientific foundation in Internal Medicine – Designing, implementing, and guiding the implementation of Internal Medicine research for the development of science – Apply the knowledge of Internal Medicine and doing community service – Able to educate within the scope of health Knowledge : – Able to master teaching theory and effective communication Researcher (researchers at university research institutes, government research institutes (outside universities) and private (industry) Competences: – Designing, implementing, and developing internal medicine research – Producing research outputs that are useful for health services in the field of Internal Medicine and society. Knowledge : Knowing research ethics, scientific methods, and research techniques. Publication of research results Manager (Managers or leaders in health institutions, hospitals, clinics or independent practices) Competences: – Able to lead agencies within the scope of health – Able to perform complete management of internal medicine field – Able to collaborate with other specialists area Knowledge : – Mastering patient referral techniques that require sub specialist management – Mastering the managerial concepts of health institutions – Mastering knowledge of medical legislation and related fields and professional ethics of doctors – Mastering the concept of institutional management in the Health field Learning Outcomes (LO) Graduate learning outcomes are prepared referring to the legal basis for the preparation of learning outcomes (LO), namely Presidential Regulation Number 8 of 2012 concerning the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) which is a framework for ranking competency qualifications that can juxtapose, equalize, and integrate between the fields of education and education. in the field of job training and work experience in order to recognize work competence in accordance with the structure of work in various sectors. Based on these regulations, the Internal Medicine Study Program is included in the qualification level 8. In addition to the aforementioned regulations, the determination of LO also refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Research and Technology No. 44 of 2015 concerning National Higher Education Standards. The following is the composition of the CPL of Internal Medicine Study Program Hasanuddin University Medical Faculty: 1. Attitude Be devoted to God Almighty, religious, civilized, uphold human values, ethical, independent, and contribute to improving the quality of community life in the fields of medicine and health. 2. Knowledge – Mastering basic medical sciences (anatomy, physiology, molecular biology, immunology) to determine patient systemic structure and function – Master the basic concepts of disease regarding etiology, pathogenesis, pathophysiology, clinical signs, history and physical examination as well as steps in determining the diagnosis of internal medicine (Tropical Infection, Gastrohepatology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Kidney Hypertension, Rheumatology, Allergy Immunology, Geriatrics, Hematology Oncology, Endocrine Metabolic and Diabetes and Psychosomatic) – Mastering the concept of handling patients based on clinical reasons (clinical Mreasoning) and Problem Oriented Medical Record (POMR) – Mastering the concept of types, working mechanisms, drug preparations and methods of prescribing and side effects of drugs in the field of internal medicine – Mastering referral techniques for patients requiring subspecial careMastering research methods and their application to aspects of medical science in the field of internal medicine – Mastering the principles of disease prevention and health promotion in the field of internal medicineAble to master teaching theory and effective communication – Mastering the managerial concepts of health institutions – Mastering knowledge of medical legislation and related fields and professional ethics of doctors 3. Skills – Able to develop logical, critical, systematic, and creative thinking through scientific research or design creation, to compile scientific conceptions and results of their studies based on scientific principles, procedures and ethics in the form of a thesis published in an accredited scientific journal. – Able to compile ideas, thoughts and scientific arguments responsibly and based on academic ethics, and communicate through the media to the academic community and the wider community. – Able to manage, develop and maintain networks with colleagues, peers within the wider research institution and community. 4. Competences – Able to summarize the interpretation of the history, physical examination, laboratory tests, and procedures in accordance with the specialization of internal medicine to make a diagnosis, by referring to evidence-based medicine; – Able to carry out diagnosis and clinical management in the fields of Endocrine Metabolic and Diabetes, Kidrey Hypertension, Pulmonology, Tropical Infections, Rheumatology, Medical Oncology Hematology, Cardiology, Gastroenterohepatology, Geriatrics, Immunology and Psychosomatic Allergy according to problems, patient needs and authority. – Able to conduct clinical diagnosis and management in the field of kidney hypertension according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority – Able to perform clinical procedures in the field of pulmonology according to the problem, patient’s needs and authorityAble to carry out clinical diagnosis and management in the field of tropical infections, especially HIV according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority – Able to carry out clinical diagnosis and management in the field of rheumatology according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority – Able to perform diagnosis and clinical management in the field of Hematology Oncology according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority – Able to carry out clinical diagnosis and management in the field of cardiology according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority – Able to carry out clinical diagnosis and management in the field of Gastrohepatology according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority. – Able to perform clinical diagnosis and management in the field of Geriatrics according to the patient’s problem, needs and authorityAble to carry out clinical diagnosis and management in the field of Allergy Immunology according to the problem, patient needs and authority – Able to carry out clinical diagnosis and management in the Psychosomatic field according to the patient’s problem, needs and authority – Able to perform clinical diagnosis and management in the field of internal medicine emergencies; according to the problem, patient needs and authority – Able to manage independently and or lead a team in solving internal disease health problems in individuals, families, or communities in a comprehensive manner through inter, multi, and transdisciplinary approaches in the context of secondary / tertiary health services; – Able to utilize the latest medical science and technology in order to improve practical clinical skills in the field of internal medicine – Able to manage human resources and health service facilities in the field of diseases in an effective and efficient manner in secondary and tertiary health services; – Able to conduct and manage research through the study and development of medical science and technology in the field of internal diseases, the results of which can be applied to society and science and deserve to be published at the national or international level |
