The Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, successfully conducted the Internal Medicine Emergency Course (IMEC) XVII 2026 on May 14–15, 2026, at the Teaching Hospital Building A, 5th Floor, Department of Internal Medicine FK Unhas.
Over the course of two days, IMEC XVII presented a series of comprehensive, interactive, and clinically relevant sessions focusing on emergency management in Internal Medicine. The program was designed to enhance participants’ competencies in identifying, evaluating, and managing acute medical conditions commonly encountered in clinical practice.
The scientific sessions were delivered by distinguished professors, consultants, and specialists from various subspecialties in Internal Medicine. Through evidence-based discussions and practical approaches, participants gained updated knowledge and deeper clinical insights into the management of emergency cases. Interactive learning activities and case-based discussions also encouraged active participation and strengthened clinical decision-making skills among attendees.
