Makassar – The Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, conducted the admission process for prospective residents of the Specialist Medical Education Program (Program Pendidikan Dokter Spesialis/PPDS) as part of its commitment to selecting highly qualified, professional, and ethical future internists.
The selection process commenced with the Internal Medicine Written Examination, held on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, at the Prof. Amiruddin Auditorium. This examination was designed to assess candidates’ academic knowledge and clinical reasoning in Internal Medicine, serving as one of the key stages in the admission process.
On the following day, Thursday, 11 June 2026, candidates participated in the Interview and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) at Hasanuddin University Teaching Hospital, Building A, 5th Floor. These assessments were conducted to evaluate candidates’ clinical competence, communication skills, professionalism, clinical decision-making, and overall readiness to undertake specialist training.
The entire selection process was conducted in an orderly, objective, and transparent manner under the supervision of faculty members from the Department of Internal Medicine. Through this comprehensive evaluation, the department aims to identify candidates with outstanding academic and clinical competence, strong professional integrity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
