In commemoration of World Hepatitis Day, Internal Medicine Department of Medical Faculty of Hasanuddin University held a series of activities titled Celebes Hepatology Update 2022 (C-Heal Up 2022) in Conjunction with World Hepatitis Day
This year, the theme was
“Hepatitis of Unknown Origin: Be Aware, Hep Can’t Wait”
The event was held from 28th – 31st July 2022
It was scheduled with HBsAg, anti-HCV, and anti-HBs screening tests, as well as free fibroscan examination
Education about viral hepatitis for common people and health workers
Symposium and plenary lectures as knowledge updates for GPs and specialists
At the last day, the event was closed with morning exercises, door prizes distribution, symbolic release of balloons, HepB vaccination, blood donation, and free fibroscan examination.
Hopefully the activities and knowledges we gained can be used wisely
