The Integrated of Respirology, Geriatric, and Clinical Immunology Allergy Symposium (IRGaCIA 2022) was held from October 14th-16th 2022 at the Claro Hotel and Convention Center, Makassar.
This annual event is a collaboration of 3 divisions in the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University. The workshop was attended by 95 participants, and the symposium was attended by 402 participants for 3 days.
The workshops were divided into 3 themes: Long Covid and COVID Booster Vaccine, Hospital Acquired Pneumonia (HAP) and Ventilator-Associated-Pneumonia (VAP), as well as Lung Cancer and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
The symposium lasted for 2 days with various themes. The committee presents interesting and up-to-date speakers and materials.
On the closing day, our residency doctors brought a stunning dance performance. Furthermore, the awaited announcement of door prizes with the grand prize of millions of rupiahs in cash.
Hopefully, IRGACIA 2022 can provide benefits, and the knowledge gained can be applied to our clinical practice.
