As part of Community Service program, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Hasanuddin conducted a Healthcare Seminar on 30 August 2025 at the Pola Room, Wajo Regent’s Office. The seminar addressed important topics on hypertension, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, featuring expert speakers Prof. Dr. dr. Haerani Rasyid, M.Kes., Sp.PD, K-GH, Sp.GK, and Prof. Dr. dr. Andi Makbul Aman, Sp.PD, K-EMD.
The event was attended by more than 200 participants from the general public of Wajo Regency, who actively engaged in the presentations and discussions with the experts. In her message, Prof. Haerani Rasyid emphasized, “Managing hypertension and diabetes is not only about medication, but also about self-awareness in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”
The knowledge delivered through this seminar is expected to serve as valuable guidance for the community in their efforts to achieve better health and overall well-being in the future.
