To commemorate World Diabetes Day 2025, the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Hasanuddin, held a series of educational and community activities on Saturday, 8 November 2025, at the Center for Teacher and Education Personal Development, Jl. Adhyaksa No. 2, Makassar, South Sulawesi. With the theme “Diabetes and Well Being,” the event featured a public seminar, an educational chant competition, a diabetes exercise competition, and various fun games designed to strengthen public awareness and understanding of diabetes.
Through this program, the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Hasanuddin reaffirms its commitment to promoting a healthier society by advancing knowledge, encouraging early detection, and fostering active lifestyle practices as essential components of effective diabetes prevention and management.
