The Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University through the Division of Gastroenterology-Hepatology successfully held the Makassar Gastroenterology-Hepatology Update (MaGEHup) 2026.
Carrying the theme “Beyond the Gut and Liver: Integrating Precision Medicine in Gastroenterology and Hepatology Practice,” this scientific meeting brought together experts, clinicians, and participants to discuss the latest developments and innovations in gastroenterology and hepatology, particularly in the implementation of precision medicine to improve patient care.
Held on 2–3 May 2026 at The Rinra Hotel Makassar, the event featured various scientific sessions and interactive discussions aimed at enriching knowledge, strengthening clinical competencies, and supporting continuous professional development in daily medical practice.
