As part of Community Service program, the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Hasanuddin conducted a health service activity on 30 August 2025 at Wewangrewu Community Health Center (Puskesmas Wewangrewu), Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency. The program consisted of health education sessions on HIV and Basic Life Support (BLS), general medical examinations, nutritional status assessments, lung function testing, as well as screening for peripheral artery disease, sarcopenia, obesity, osteoarthritis, and gout.
Total of 207 community members actively participated in this initiative, reflecting strong enthusiasm and growing awareness of the importance of maintaining personal and public health. This activity underscores the Department of Internal Medicine Unhas’ commitment to advancing community well-being and reaffirming service as a core value in its efforts to contribute meaningfully to society.
