The Specialist and Subspecialist Program in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, conducted an Evaluation Meeting on the Achievement of the 2022–2026 Vision and Mission, alongside the renewal of the Vision and Mission for the 2026–2030 period on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at Claro Hotel Makassar. The meeting was attended by faculty leaders, academic staff, educators, and stakeholders as part of a collective commitment to strengthening the institution’s sustainable development.
This activity served as an important forum to review the achievements of the study program over recent years, particularly in the areas of education, research, community service, and human resource development. In addition to evaluating established targets and outcomes, the meeting also provided an opportunity to identify challenges and strategic opportunities for future institutional growth.
Various recommendations and strategic inputs were discussed to further enhance academic quality, institutional governance, and the development of specialist and subspecialist medical education. The renewal of the vision and mission reflects the program’s adaptive response to the advancement of medical science and technology, evolving healthcare needs, and the growing demands of global medical education.
Through a comprehensive evaluation process and the formulation of a forward-looking vision and mission, the Specialist and Subspecialist Program in Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, is expected to continue producing highly competent, professional, and globally competitive medical specialists who contribute significantly to the advancement of healthcare services and medical sciences.
