| Program Structure and Content | Based on National Standard of Indonesian Internal Medicine Board, the programme uses a credit system called SKS, which is regulated as follows: – 1 SKS of teaching covers 50 minutes contact hours + 60 minutes assignment/tutorial + 60 minute of self-study1 SKS of bed side teaching covers 170 minutes of practical session – 1 SKS of seminar covers 170 minutes of seminar sessionThe duration of one semester is generally 24 weeks per semester. In comparison to ECTS credit system, wherein 1 credit point may consist of 25-30 workload, it is considered that 1 SKS of national credit system is equal to 1.7 credit point (CP) of ECTS system. Therefore, the ECTS awarded for each subject is calculated using this conversion system. |
| Teaching, learning, and assessment strategies | Strategy for teaching, learning and assessment processes in the Internal Medicine Specialist program lasts 8 semesters in which the teaching methods used consist of Lectures, Small Group Discussions, Role-Play & Simulation, Discovery Learning (DL), Self-Directed Learning (SDL),Cooperative Learning (CL), Collaborative Learning (CbL), Contextual Instruction (CI), Project Based Learning (PjBL), Problem Based Learning and Inquiry (PBL) and Evidence Based Learning (EBL).The activities in performing the learning process methods are lectures, responses and tutorials, seminars, field practice (bed side teaching / filling patient medical records), research, and community service.Strategies for assessment of the learning process sased on the agreement of Internal medicine department collegium in hasanuddin university, the recommended assessment method in the Internal Medicine specialist education program use the MCQ test method, for knowledge assessment and mini-CEX, CBD, DOPS and OSCE for general and specific skills assessment |

Applications for leave as required need to obtain approval from the academic advisor through head of the study program and the Dean, are suhmitted in writing to the Academic Administration Bureau no later than one week before the initial lecture according to the schedule on the academic calendar. Academic leave period is not included in the calculation of the leave period and is not subject to tuition fees. |
| Additional Course Rules | Course Cancellation and Replacement Policy are based on the Decree by Rector of Hasanuddin University (number 7/UN4.1/2019), clause 11. Resignation from the course that is being followed can be done in a force majeure condition, where it gets approval from the academic advisor through the head of the study program and the Dean and it is submitted in writing to the Academic Administration Bureau.Resignation from all courses in the current on going semester, the semester is not counted in the study period. Resignation from a course in the current on going semester can only be submitted once during the study period (8 semesters).
