| Learning Outcomes | Graduate Profile Graduates of a specialist in internal medicine study program, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University, have masters knowledge and inseparable skills as a care provider, researcher, educator and as a manager. Care Provider Competencies: – Supervising all processes involved in subspecialty internal medicine services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. – Analyzing complex clinical problems in internal medicine patients. – Performing comprehensive diagnosis and clinical management in the field of internal medicine subspecialty in accordance with patient problems, needs, and professional authority. – Providing pharmacological and non-pharmacological management. – Summarizing and interpreting patient history, physical examination findings, laboratory results, and relevant subspecialty procedures to establish diagnoses based on evidence-based medicine. Knowledge: Mastery of theoretical foundations, core concepts, and clinical skills in internal medicine subspecialty. Educator Competencies: – Applying theories and concepts of internal medicine subspecialty as essential scientific foundations in the field. – Designing, conducting, and supervising subspecialty internal medicine research for scientific development. – Applying subspecialty internal medicine knowledge and conducting community service activities. – Providing education within the scope of health professions education. Knowledge: Mastery of teaching theories and effective communication skills. Researcher Competencies: – Designing, conducting, and developing research in the field of internal medicine subspecialty. – Producing research outputs that are beneficial to healthcare services in internal medicine subspecialty and to the community. Knowledge: – Research ethics, scientific methodology, and research techniques. – Scientific publication of research findings. Manager Competencies: – Demonstrating leadership within healthcare institutions. – Delivering comprehensive management in the field of internal medicine subspecialty. – Collaborating effectively with specialists and subspecialists from other disciplines. Knowledge: – Mastery of managerial concepts in healthcare institutions. – Knowledge of medical laws and regulations, related fields, and professional medical ethics. – Mastery of healthcare institution management concepts. Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO) The Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO) are formulated with reference to the legal framework governing the development of Learning Outcomes (LO), namely Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2012 on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia – KKNI). This framework serves as a qualification leveling system that aligns, equates, and integrates competencies across education sectors, vocational training, and work experience, in order to provide recognition of professional competencies in accordance with occupational structures across various sectors. Based on this regulation, the Internal Medicine Subspecialty Study Program is classified at Qualification Level 9, which is equivalent to a Doctoral (PhD) level. The description of this qualification level includes the following competencies: – The ability to develop new knowledge, technology, and/or arts within the relevant scientific discipline or professional practice through research, resulting in creative, original, and validated scholarly work. – The ability to solve problems in science, technology, and/or the arts within the relevant field through interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, or transdisciplinary approaches. – The ability to manage, lead, and develop research and development activities that contribute to the welfare and benefit of humankind, and to obtain national and international recognition. In addition to the above regulation, the formulation of the GLO also refers to Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Regulation Number 44 of 2015 concerning the National Standards for Higher Education.
