On Monday, January 9 2023, the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University held a welcoming party for accepting 25 students from the Internal Medicine Specialist Education Program and 2 students from the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Education Program. This event, which is routinely held for every admission period, took place hybrid (offline and online) and is attended by supervisors and colleagues.
The event was opened with remarks by the Head of the SP-1 Department, Dr. dr. M. Harun Iskandar, Sp.P, Sp.PD, K-P and remarks by the Head of the Department of Internal Medicine, FK Unhas, Prof. Dr. dr. A. Makbul Aman, Sp. PD, K-EMD.
During this period, the Internal Medicine Subspecialist Medical Education Program accepted 2 students with specializations in Hematology and Oncology Medic and Kidney-Hypertension Division.
The events continued with introductions by each student from various almamaters throughout Indonesia. Then it was continued with the embedding of the doctor’s coat symbolism to 2 representatives and closed with the performance by the new students who further enlivened the event.
