As part of Community Service program, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Hasanuddin organized a Health Symposium on 30 August 2025 at Sermani Hotel, Sengkang, Wajo Regency. The symposium aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals in managing common clinical issues encountered in daily practice.
The event featured two main topics: “Pain Management in Rheumatology Cases (Focus on Diclofenac Acid)” presented by Dr. dr. Faridin HP, Sp.PD, K-R, and “Cytoprotective Agent in the Treatment and Prevention of Gastric Ulcer: The Role of Sucralfate” delivered by Dr. dr. A. Muh. Luthfi Parewangi, Sp.PD, K-GEH.
The symposium was attended by physicians and healthcare staff from Wajo Regency and surrounding areas. It provided a platform for knowledge exchange, professional discussion, and the strengthening of networks, contributing to the improvement of healthcare services and outcomes for the community.
